Esbjerg, 4 October 2022 – Today at 8:27, the biggest Tyra II topside touched safely down on the last remaining bare jacket at the Tyra field. The lift of the 17,000 tons heavy process module broke a world record as the heaviest crane lift ever undertaken at sea.

New Tyra II West facilities set sail towards the North Sea
Today at 9:48 AM (local time), the Tyra Redevelopment team in Singapore celebrated “mission accomplished” when they sent the three brand-new wellhead and riser platforms with a total weight of 3,485 tons and two bridges on their journey towards the Tyra field where they will be installed later this year. With this sail-away milestone achieved the fabrication activities at the Sembcorp Marine (SMOP) yard in Singapore are concluded.
