Esbjerg, 13 June 2023 – Today, TotalEnergies is starting up the new established Tyra onshore control room – a crucial milestone for the whole offshore industry and a visible sign that the redevelopment of Denmark’s largest gas field soon comes to an end.

Esbjerg, 9 February 2023 – This week the well campaign has started, and the first refurnished well equipment has been successfully installed on the new Tyra II marking yet another important milestone in the final phase of the Tyra Redevelopment project.

13.12.22The old Tyra is now history – 98.5% reused or recycled
Esbjerg, 13 December 2022 – The largest recycling project of offshore installations in Denmark’s history has successfully completed. After 2.5 years of dismantling work on the old platforms and structures from the Tyra field, 98.5% of the material has now been reused and recycled.
10.10.22Last connecting bridge touched down: Tyra II now has its final shape
Esbjerg, 10 October 2022 – The last remaining piece of Tyra II puzzle was lifted into its final position. The world’s largest crane Sleipnir will soon leave the Tyra field after a successful installation campaign.
04.10.22Final Tyra-topside lift breaks world record
Esbjerg, 4 October 2022 – Today at 8:27, the biggest Tyra II topside touched safely down on the last remaining bare jacket at the Tyra field. The lift of the 17,000 tons heavy process module broke a world record as the heaviest crane lift ever undertaken at sea.
