Watch video: The final phase for Tyra II has begun

Currently, more than 1,200 people offshore and over 250 people on land are working on preparing the restart of Tyra’s production. Learn more about the final phase of the redevelopment in the video.

Over the last few years, we have achieved several major milestones, and there are even more in sight – because we have started the very last phase of the redevelopment of Tyra – Denmark’s largest natural gas field.

Currently, more than 1,200 people offshore and over 250 people on land are working on preparing the restart of Tyra’s production. It is specifically about the connection and commissioning, which includes the reconnection of the export pipeline to Denmark, start-up of the gas turbines, and re-establishment of gas flow into the Tyra facilities. At the same time, everything must be tested, so we guarantee safety and reliability from the field. Once the modernized Tyra II is back on stream, it is expected to deliver 2.8 billion cubic meter gas per year and will thus contribute to Denmark’s and Europe’s energy security and energy independence.
